My simple pleasure today is sleep. My body has been craving it so much lately. I feel like I can't get enough...but when I do...that moment where I wake up completely rested...bliss.

Today is Thursday and that means it is time for you to share your simple pleasures.

My simple pleasure this week is being on a normal schedule. I have temporarily (hopefully permanently) changed positions. I have gone from working Patrol on the midnight shift to working in a school. My schedule is know a normal Monday through Friday gig. That allows me to spend quality time with my wife. This is the first time since we have been married that I have been on a normal schedule.

My simple pleasure today is soft klennex. I am recovering from a cold and it is so nice when you have to repeatedly blow your nose, that you have a nice soft tissue. It makes a world of difference.

My simple pleasure today is Going straight home after work. I have had to go to court the last three straight days after work. Today I get to go straight home and go to bed. I can't wait.

It seems my dear Husby has lost the will to blog...so I will jump in. My Simple Pleasure for today is falling right to sleep. Most nights it takes me a good 15-30 minutes to fall asleep. Last night...literally my head hit the pillow, lights went off and goodnight Irene.

I love it when that happens.

My Simple Pleasure this Thursday is the sun. For those of you who live in the Maryland area this is that bright orangish/yellowish circle thing that hangs high in the sky. When it is in the sky it usually puts of heat and warms the day up. You can hear phrases like, "Oh it is such a beautiful day" and "Man that sun is bright today." when this particular thing is out. We haven't had this wonderful simple pleasure in over a week.

That is my simple pleasure and hopefully I will experience it again soon. What is your simple pleasure?

My Simple Pleasure this week is my wife. My wife is the best Family Administrator and I am blessed to have her.

Several weeks ago my wife asked me what makes her irreplaceable and ever since I have been trying to pay attention to those things. I am trying to work on expressing those things to her verbally (for some reason that is a challenge for me). I am still a work in progress

So today I am making that my simple pleasure. All I have to do is go to work and bring home the bread and she does the rest. She keeps our home in tip top shape and she makes sure bills are paid and we aren't sinking. Thank you Baby for keeping the family a float. I love you always and you are truly irreplaceable

My simple pleasure this week is seeing God reach down and touch a young person. I work with the youth at our Church and our services are on Wednesday. I am seeing God really work in some of our youth and it is great to see them have genuine break through with God.

My simple pleasure is easy this week. The sun is my simple pleasure. It feels like it hasn't been out in about a month. Now if we can get it to put some heat out it will be a double simple pleasure week.

I realize that it is actually Friday, but I am a little behind because I have been on vacation. My simple pleasure this week is being able to spend a day doing exactly what I wanted to do. That entailed playing Mafia Wars, and Wii. What a nice time.

My simple pleasure for this Thursday is sharing quality time with my wife just talking. We have been like two sail boats passing in the wind lately, so it is making me desire some quality time just chatting with my wife. I enjoy our time spent together and I am off this weekend so we will have to make time for this.

My simple pleasure for this Thursday is seeing the face of two people that are parked in a secluded or not so secluded area having sexual relations when the police pull up. This is one of those moments where individuals make priceless facial expressions.

Although Thursday is almost over I just got to a computer, so I am still going to do my simple pleasure.

My simple pleasure this week is being able to go over to a buddies house and share my new found talent of construction. I went over to my buddy Dave's house and helped him build a half wall at the top of his stairs. We were able to pull our resources and materials together and it only cost him around 10 dollars to build this wall. We had a great time too.

My simple pleasure this week is having the day off when we have snow day. Most of the snow days I have to work, so I don't get to go sledding. This snow day I was able to go sledding and have a great relaxing day.

My simple pleasure this week is about the things we learn from our spouses. I never thought when I got married I would learn as much as I do from my wife. I always knew we would learn together, but to learn from her (don't take this wrong, my wife is brilliant) never crossed my mind. Well my wife has taught me a lot. Thank you babe for taking the time to teach me, and help me grow into a great husband.

My simple pleasure today is watching a baby just hang out. I have been feeling just yucky the last week or so. I can't seem to get rid of this sickness that I got Premiere weekend, but last night we went to Chick-Fil-A like we do every Wednesday. I sat next to Tessie and everyone was eating, but I wasn't because of my ickyness. So I just kind of watched Tessie hang out in her car seat. She sat there happy as a clam playing with her little hanging toys and playing with her tongue. She just looked so peaceful without a care in the world. Oh to be 5 months old again.

Simple Pleasure Thursday has come and my simple pleasure is seeing how God can take something that we think will be bad and make it good.

Our youth group went to Winterfest this last weekend and it is something we do once a year. It is basically a multi state youth rally. Well this year the lineup was very weak and the cost was very high. So our numbers were down and those of us going weren't to siked about the lineup. We went and it is amazing how much God moved the whole entire weekend. I believe some of our students had awesome breakthroughs.
