Todays prompt asked us to photograph a loved one in “their” spot in the house.

Technically, this isn’t in the house…but it is the backyard…and it is most definitely one of the puppies favorites spots in the yard. Sunning by the back shed is a prime location in the Spring and Summer. Aren’t they just too cute!!

Todays prompt asked us to photograph our loved ones extracurricular activity.

Right away I knew I needed to head to the golf course…well not literally…but at least to the photos of one really great day for Husby on the golf course. This is the day that Husby almost made a hole-in-one at Congressional Golf Course. It’s one of the courses that the pros play at.

He was so proud of himself…and it proved to showcase the skills of one of Husby’s favorite hobbies.

08 gift from the heart

Todays prompt asked us to photograph a promised gift.

I knew that I wanted to get into photography and I had been researching and talking about it for a while. One day in late May, Husby said it was time. I was allowed to purchase my NEW camera. Although it wasn’t necessarily a gift FROM him, his willingness to let me use lots of our money on something that was really just for me, was gift enough!

This is one of my favorite pictures. It’s my sisters and I, along with my cousin, my Mother and  my Aunts. The pose is a “signature” with my Mom’s family growing up…and it has been passed down to the girlies in the family!

Today’s prompt asked us to photograph someone we loved doing something the hated.
 I immediately knew which photograph would work.  Husby hates to sand drywall…and we had to do a lot of it…even for a tiny room.
I think deep down he loves the accomplishment of it, but hates blowing it out of his nose for days!

Today’s prompt asked us to photograph our loved ones clothes…
 
I choose to photograph Husby after a particularly long and hard day at work. Long story short it involved mud, as you can see from his pants. Glad he’s ok…this uniform has seen many days…and he spends the majority of his life in it.
 
But boy does he wear it well!

My little Pickle-Bear. The second man of the house.

Once a pink-puffy-eyed little puppy, now he's the worlds bestest friend and one of my favorite things to look forward to at the end of the day.

Today's prompt asked us to document someone we love while they are "DO"ing something. Lately, as in the past year or so, Husby has been "DO"ing alot of Home Improvement work. He loves it.

 As you can see here, he really gets into it...what's not to love? A Man. His tools. And Fire.
