Over at For the Love of My Home & Life they took a $4.31 headboard and footboard from a thrift store and turned it into a bench.
Here it is before painting it...

Umm - yes you do!! You could add some pillws and/or a seat cushion and put it outside - it'd be SOOO adorable!! And I want one! I just saw a headboard/footboard combo at goodwill the other week that would've been PERFECT!!
