My simple pleasure today has to do with ringing in the New Year. I had to go back to work New Years eve into New Years, so I thought I wasn't going to be able to ring in the New Year with my wife. When I got to work my Sgt had me run some food up to our dispatcher in the Headquarters building. After I did that I didn't tell anyone, but I rushed home and was able to count down and ring in the New Year with my wife and my family. What a simple pleasure for me. New Years is one of my favorite holidays.
