"Further perverting the traditional fairytale, someone wisely said "happily ever after is so once upon a time", and Canadian photographer Dina Goldstein seems to agree with that concept.
This series place Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The "…happily ever after" is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues that affect real women, such as illness, addiction and self-image issues."

Seems a bit pessimistic to me to think that "Happily Ever After" is a thing of the past...what are your thoughts?

I think it's horrible... I like the innocent little princess stories!
I must say that I sometimes feel like snow white....... but the other ones are just depressing. Why can I not dream about a prince coming to rescue me........
