Today is the Ten Year anniversary of the Columbine High School Shooting.
The Columbine High School massacre occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado, United States, near Denver and Littleton. Two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, embarked on a massacre, killing 12 students and a teacher, as well as wounding 23 others, before committing suicide. It is the fourth-deadliest school massacre in United States history, after the 1927 Bath School disaster, 2007 Virginia Tech massacre and the 1966 University of Texas massacre, and the deadliest for an American high school. As we remember this horrible tragedy I wanted to provide you a link which catches you up on some of the surviving victims. Look where they are now......
This was a horrible tragedy, but as a police department it has changed a lot of the things we do and what we are prepared for.

It's strange, I find myself thinking of this quite often. I think because I felt connected to them as I was in High School when it happened. It could have very easily happened here.
(I was going to ask who the guy in the picture was, but the article told me.)
