My Husband Rocks.Oh the fun we have together!! So, last night we were driving home and we saw a man step out of his car and begin to push the car out of a turning lane (he was broken down.) My Husby immediately made a comment about why the women in the passenger seat wasn't helping him...me being the ever present optimist stated something about the fact that maybe he was a 'gentlemen' and didn't expect her to help. Cory then made a comment that I found to be 'not-so-nice' and thus began our hysterical argument. What's an hysterical argument you may ask? Well...it's basically and argument taking place by two people with smiles on their faces as they are laughing. So in a nutshell, not a real argument...more like happily bickering.
We hysterically argued all the way home (another 4 minutes or so) about whether the driver was white or black. Whether the woman was fat, skinny, pregnant or just lazy. Whether she was wearing a dark shirt or a grey shirt. Why she wasn't helping. What kind of car it was and the color. By the time we pulled into the driveway and stepped out of the car, we were both claiming to be right.
That's when he said it...and I am sure he said it with no thought of actually doing it, but he said, "Well I might just drive back there to see who was right." I said, "Let's do it then!" and jumped back into the car. He climbs in dying laughing and we proceeded to drive over to see who was right.
He was of course right...about most of the factors...it WAS a white male, a maroon car, a Saturn, etc. However I was right about the fact that it was a skinny lady in the front seat with a grey shirt on.
We laughed all the way back home, especially about the fact that our little hysterical argument kept us from pulling over and actually helping this gentlemen push his car!
Oh man...guess you had to be there, but it was funny!
You rock babe, cause you know how to laugh at life...with me! :)

Well, I have 15 mins left of this long friday. My future hubby rocks because...he knows how to let me have my feelings and still understands. Now this doesn't always happen because of most of us humans, when we are in our moment of anger or what have you; we see only what we see from our side of things...but today, he really made me feel so good just knowing that he was really tuned into my feelings.
So I was reading today and catching up on your blogs... My thoughts towards this one.... Maybe the lady in the car was pregnant and that's why she wasn't helping.
I feel bad for the people in the car. I am sure they were like, "Why won't this car just stop and help us already? Why does it keep coming back?"
